A family boutique on the Côte d'Azur opening a flagship and a digital storefront in the same quarter. Wanted to look inherited, not built.
You came in asking for 'understated luxury'. Half your competitors say the same thing, then put a yacht in the deck. So I read the brief twice and built the opposite of a yacht. The whole identity is one move: assume the reader already knows where Monaco is. No greeting. No reveal. No explainer. The blue is borrowed from the harbour at 6am, not from a Pantone book of 'coastal'. The serif is there because sans-serif would have made you look like a hotel. Everything you don't see in this system is doing as much work as everything you do.

Three adjectives stacked: 'timeless, elegant, refined'. Reads as insecure.
